TNT FV chapter run #7 &8
FV No. 7 We will be doing another evening run close to town Monday July 19th. "Departing" at 7:00 pm from A&W. All short wheel base 4x4 rigs welcome with good tires and tow points.

FV No. 8 Run will also be departing from FV A&W. Only this time Sunday, July 25th. Meet at 2:00 pm. "Departing" at 2:30 sharp. As usual no booze, no garbage or man left behind. Bring lawn chairs and fire pit eating stuff for this run. Also, all short wheel base 4x4 rigs welcome with good tires and tow points.

As it looks now, these will be our last two runs before meeting in Grande Cache for the big event. (ACE) A good number of Fairview Chapter plan to be there from August 3rd to August 9th.Monkeydance-1

took my 9month and counting daughter, son-inlaw and his parents out for a "rough" ride tonight. Hoping to bring the baby along (Tony-I called you to see if you wanted to do the same with Rachelle) Well, nothin happened, except the mother-inlaw wanted to pee herself on "the hill". None of them had ever experienced what a short wb locked rig can climb. I think they were expecting mud but I fooled umPirate If she's still "hangin" in there tomorrow, I might have to take her on the runLoony

I don't have the best tires .... but i have very solid tow points front and rear. Can I come?

I just have to convince Chantelle, but i'm sure the two hour journey will be worth it. A birthday present of sorts!

Would love to say sure. Define "not the best tires".:shock:Your not running all season or no tread left ,are you. We will be on steep hills.

I have Goodyear wrangler SR/A's 265/r75 / 16's not superswamper / pitbulls

They have plenty of tread on them. So far i've done some pretty gnarly hill climbing in them (for a stock jeep).

The only time i had issues climbing with it was on slicked ice after like 6 people went up the hill and left me no snow for grip.
Anyone from tntgp familiar with this run?

Ah, should be fine. A little slip will be ok, shouldn't be any mud to speak of
