Apparently i've been told that I'm v. ambituous.Whatever. So tinkering with CAD and wondering how to lower my winch without loosing approach angle. I decided to visit my girlfriend sally at Russel and get her to cut up some more bits and peices for me. This is what i started with. Any one that has wheeled with me has seen this mega booty fab bumper. And snickered silentley. It was a quick fix and stayed on my rig much much to long. No more. Its on the ground, ![]() So, the start of my new and latest booty fab creation. Fit up and ready to weld. Yes those are peices of bed frame. fawk off. I use what i have. ![]() I designed the bumper so that major connections were corner to corner to accomodate full pen welding. Maximum strength!!! ![]() Core of the bumper is 1/4" plate all boxed and cross braced. Still light but mega strong. ![]() The toppeices to give more strenth and further define the shape of the bumper. The rest of the top and front are from 3/16" plate. and the bottom will be 1/8" plate. ![]() Some wrap around action. ![]() Front plates fit-up and tacked in place. ![]() Nuff welding tonight. Heres the side profile. I know it tilts up. i don't care, go build your own damn bumper if your a critic. ![]() G' Night. More progress tomorrow. RE: Bump It Up! Put that s#$t down.
All the peices were lighter than my old bumper. Its fat to fit an 8074 winch. And i'm in town. Will be all week.

RE: Bump It Up! Put that s#$t down.
Aw well, Heres the final product. Ends pulled down during the welding process, and I need to revamp the bumper mounts when I have time. I can bring it 2 or so inches closer to home. and a Hause is on order.
![]() It packaged up the winch nicley and has a better approach angle than before. Definantly helped the cooling issue. Doesn't run in the red on long climbs anymore. ![]() Cheers "Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people." Good ol' Sally, - everybody gets a turn.
![]() Bill, maybe it's the fat tires that make the bumper look good?

Isn't that the trick to looking thinner is to have fat friends?
